Your objective will be to support the consulting, data science, product and engineering team to deliver exceptional service to our clients. As a technical support specialist you will have the opportunity to play a key role in projects and make a real impact.


Job Description

We're seeking an ambitious technical support specialist to join our team based in India. The team delivers world class sports science and data analysis services to a roster of world-famous teams such as the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Inspire Institute of Sport and has ambitious growth plans for India in 2021.

Location: Remote during COVID-19. Future in either Mumbai or Bangalore.

Term: Full Time.

Hours: Full-time, standard working hours (occasional weekend and after-hours work will be required).

Remuneration: Competitive salary to reflect your experience and qualifications.

Essential
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience within a professional working environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Hindi (other languages native to India would be an advantage).
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT literacy and proficiency.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proactive personality, ability to work unsupervised.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and implement new skills.
  • Confident communicator with clients and senior management.
  • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
  • Passion for and understanding of sport.
  • Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours.

Desired

  • BSc. in Sport Science, or related degree
  • PowerBI experience.
  • SQL experience.
  • Practical sports industry experience.


Responsibilities
  • Focus will be on both technical and general support.
  • Communicate with clients, internal departments and staff across multiple channels; including but not limited to phone, chat, and web/email.
  • Stay current on our platforms and any known issues to assist internal departments, partners and clients who interact with our products.
  • Help generate new business opportunities throughout the Indian market by providing administrative support to sales team when and where needed.
