Job Description

Noon - The Social Learning Platform is one of the fastest-growing EdTech startups across the MENA and SEA region. In 2013, we started our journey as a simple test preparation website. Seven years later, after thousands of data-driven experiments, Noon has transformed into a versatile, comprehensive online learning platform with over 12 million registered students. Our open platform incorporates social and gamification features that enable students to have an engaging, collaborative learning experience with teachers and fellow students through study groups, peer-to-peer learning, and contests.

As of June 2020, we raised a Pre-B fund of $13 million; We aim to bring together 50 million students and tutors from around the world by 2023.

We are currently live in India and we are building the A-team to work on various problem statements across functions.


We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Lead to join our marketing team.

As a Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing efforts.

In this role, you will be working closely with Marketing, Operations amp; Support teams to understand the requirements of users and help grow our community exponentially.


Responsibility :

  • Run company social media advertising campaigns - organic and paid.
  • Formulate high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign.
  • Expand our social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
  • Monitor the company's brand on social media.
  • Build brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.
  • Manage our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
  • Respond to comments on each of our accounts.
  • Oversee customer service provided via social media.
  • Analyze data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
  • Coach employees company-wide on content creation best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven work experience as a Social media associate/manager, particularly on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok (or alternatives).
  • Intermediate level of experience amp; understanding of brand management.
  • Hands on experience in content management (think memes!)
  • Superb copywriting skills.
  • Experience working with influencers and has run campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of design principles.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
