What you’ll be doing:
- Working collaboratively with both the London-based team and the Hyderabad-based team 12 PM IST to 9 PM IST (with flexibility)
- Using the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software and web applications
- Delivering high quality PHP/JavaScript code with an emphasis on best practices
- Helping to innovate and scale our current e-commerce platform
- Managing pull requests and delivering feedback to other team members
Requirements
A bit about you:
- You have strong commercial experience working with PHP based backend frameworks like Laravel, Symfony and modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js or Angular
- You have strong knowledge of modern HTML and CSS practices
- You are comfortable working with web services such as REST and JSON
- You have experience in integrating with third-party APIs
- You have a solid understanding of source control systems such as Git
- You hold yourself to high coding standards and are a strict follower of front end best practices
- You have a basic knowledge of relational databases
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have been involved in code reviews and given feedback to other developers
Nice to have:
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in AWS / GoogleCloud
- Experience building SPAs
- Experience in the e-commerce industry
Due to the current COVID-19 initiative, the role will start as working from home role with a view to being office based once everything is back to normal so please consider location when applying.
