Unacademy is looking for a Creative Head with a strong and diverse design portfolio showcasing experience across a variety of mediums, including digital, print, motion, and environmental / experiential design. Leading a team of designers, the right Creative Head will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position, promoting our company. We are looking for an experienced manager of people, someone who can inspire others, taking our creative to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with all types of audiences.
Roles amp; Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and review work of the creative team in the production of all print, and digital marketing collateral
- Supervise a team of graphic designers, photographers/videographers
- Work closely with the Brand Director, key stakeholders, and marketing teams to understand the requirements of the brief/campaign and develop concepts
- Review and approve art developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
- Advocate for the importance of user centered design and consumer quality experiences on the team and within the greater organization
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience with creative direction in agency or corporate setting
- Passion to design excellent experiences for humans
- Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
- Strong portfolio of ad campaigns, motion design, brand, and visual design
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
