Job Description
At Fortanix we are redefining what cloud security means. Our customers use our software platform to build and run software much more securely than was previously possible.
We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop technical solutions based on top of Fortanix Runtime Encryption platform. This role requires a breadth of technical knowledge in cloud and systems infrastructure development and an eye for developing solutions to solve a customer problem. An Ideal candidate will have previous development work in infrastructure/system technology or an entrepreneurial background with experience in delivering product/solutions. Experience in building AI/ML, Data Analytics based solutions is a plus.

You will
• Contribute to a friendly and helpful company culture in building innovative solutions for Fortanix Runtime Encryption platform.
• Work at the fore-front of cloud security/privacy domain and help adoption of Runtime Encryption platform in various use cases.
• Work on defining features, phases, and requirements of technical solutions.
• Work with upper management and customer to develop prototypes and POCs.
• Talk to customers and partners, attend events, perform webinars to support and evangelize Fortanix RTE platform.
• Help with technical marketing by writing solutions briefs and engaging in technical forums.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent training or work experience
• Minimum 3 years professional experience
• Have a breadth of understanding of platform technologies such as virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes, containers and microservices
• Hands-on working and debugging experience of Linux based systems.
• Have experience in one programming/scripting language preferably Python or GO
• Experience in building solutions in Data Analytics, ML/Tensorflow is a plus.
• Experience in PKI, encryption or HSM is a plus, but is not required
