L3 Support Engineer

• Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity
• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software
• Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
• Provide technical direction to IT support staff
• Support users in office 365 related problems
• Server setup and configuration
• Good experience on networking
• Ensure constant availability of technical resources
• Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety
• Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention
• Users support and administration
• Experience in maintaining cloud environments on AWS, Azure

Requirements

Skills Required

• Windows, server Hyper-v , Sophos antivirus , Windows patching.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Configure and setup servers both physical / virtual servers.
• Experience in office 365 and spam filter tools
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Expert level knowledge in Linux Administration
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence administration
