About the Company
Blue Sky Analytics is a geospatial data intelligence startup that combines the power of AI amp; Satellite data to aid in the creation of a global environmental data stack.
Our first data set BreeZo on air quality was recognized and awarded by MIT, Patrick J McGovern foundation, and Schmidt Futures. Our second data set Zuri, for tracking of farm and forest fires, won the Space Oscars. We are also part of the global coalition headed by Al Gore, Climate TRACE, and we are extremely excited that it was recently listed in the TIME Top 100 Innovations of 2020. Our funders include Beenext and Rainmatter.
Over the next 12 months, we aim to expand to 10 environmental data-sets spanning water, land, heat, and more! We are looking to grow our team to power this expansion.
Brief
Are you always on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Email, Whatsapp? Does your life revolve on your phone but have you also analytically and skillfully understood the pulse of it?
Blue Sky is offering a great opportunity to grow your social media skills, earn some money on the side, add a fantastic internship to your resume, and lead the environmental conversation in the country. You will be working closely with the Communications Manager.
In the ever-changing world of social media, the only constant factor is creativity. In our quest of creating a world full of opportunities, we are looking for a storyteller who can knock out the mainstream content and cook up disruptive campaigns that would take the social media world by storm. If you are a jack of all trades and master of pun, give us a shout-out!
What will you do at BSA?
Create: You will be expected to create new and informative social media creatives, relevant to the respective handle - which means you will be aware of formats, resolution and the type of content that is best suited for each platform. You are expected to post content everyday! You will also be expected to contribute your talent to writing a few blogs from time to time.
Engage: You will be responsible for the company's social media handles. This will mean staying on top of your game and finding ways to engage with the audience in a creative and fun way. You may also be required to carry out campaigns with like-minded accounts and figure out ways to increase exposure of the company's social media accounts..
Track and Measure: Study the metrics, look at engagement rates and understand how the audience is interacting to our content! You should be agile enough to adapt to these. You should also have knowledge of best practices in social media content and marketing, and reflect this in the way you manage content for BSA channels!
Strategize: Always stay one step ahead! Whether its carrying out a campaign or strategizing on how to execute one - you will be working with the communications manager in thinking ahead and planning content for daily posting and major events (like International Environment Day etc.)
