Reconciliation and Billing Coordinator

Job Purpose
The main purpose of the reconciliation and billing coordinator role will be to reconcile accounts on a monthly basis in order for invoices to be raised timely and accurately. Assist our partners with invoice queries and obtain the relevant information for credit notes. Work together with the Supply, Finance and Sales and Service teams to communicate any relevant information and feedback from accommodation partners accounts.
Responsibilities
• Reconcile accommodation partners' booking report monthly
• Raise all booking report discrepancy in a timely manner - total revenue/tenancy length/commission/room type, etc.
• Actively chase partners to resolve the discrepancy in a timely manner
• Coordinate with sales and service team for collecting the proof of dispute bookings
• Assist in the process of raising credit notes
• Chase partners to provide an update of the outstanding bookings status.
• Update the final booking status in the system for accurate invoicing
• Support the account manager to understand the changes of the cancellation and unclaimable reasons
• Act as the coordinator to ensure the reconciliation flow is easy to manage across the team
• From time to time in high season, assist with invoicing process with the finance team
• Assist in updating accommodation partners’ advertising content through the CRM system to ensure updated price, tenancy length, room type, etc
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and our external partners, and provide flexible and prompt support
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Advance use in Excel
• Fluent in english
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Ability to be able to prioritize
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
• Able to be a team player within a remote role setting
• Proactive with an energetic attitude
• Affinity or experience within e-commerce environment and/or travel industry
• Proactive, sense of responsibility and can work independently
