Requirements
The person in this role is responsible for assessing requirements, architecting amp; designing solutions and guiding successful implementations of modern data products that comprise of raw data stores (data lakes) and cleansed data repositories, populated by batch or streaming data pipelines. He/she will work with a team to create a robust, sustainable, and flexible design and contribute towards technical delivery using agile delivery framework.
In this role, he/she should have a background in data and business analysis and be analytical along with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design, Create and maintain BI solutions using reporting tools.
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy)
- Create tools to store data (e.g., OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Create and maintain Technical Documentations.
- Creating and editing visual content including maps, charts, and graphs.
- Analyzing and format data to tell a specific story through data visualization and infographics charts, diagrams, and maps Working with different tools to produce the final output that can be shared with international clients.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Developing dashboards with advanced custom visualizations
- Develop an end-to-end data visualization and data analytics solution.
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
- Implementation experience with multiple data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau server architecture and implementing Tableau mobile dashboards with the help of Tableau mobile application, use of User Filters etc.
- Comfortable in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.
- Expertise on Qlik reports and dashboards, Qlik scripts, Nprinting, Dev Hub tools Mashups etc., extensions objects.
- Experience in Qlik Server QMC
- Experience in developing OBIEE Repository at three layers (Physical, Business model and Presentation Layers), Hierarchies, Working with Multiple LTS, Fragmentation, Implementation of SCDs etc.
- Experience in developing OBIEE Analytics Interactive Dashboards with Drill-down capabilities using global and local Filters, OBIEE Security setup (users/ group, access/ query privileges), configuring OBIEE Analytics Metadata objects (Subject Area, Table, Column), Presentation Services/ Web Catalog objects (Dashboards, Pages, Folders, Reports).
- Domain knowledge on Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Service
