We are looking for an awesome content writer for our India team. Startup Voyager is a top content and SEO agency working with exciting startups in the US and Europe.

We are a 23-member 100% remote team distributed across 6 countries.

We will scale up to 100+ employees by end-2021. Our revenue has grown 6x in 2020.

Scope of Work:

Ghostwriting articles for our clients’ blogs in the B2B amp; B2C space. Most articles will be above 2500 words.

Our clients include a billion-dollar SaaS startup, an exciting fintech startup and a super popular Google chrome extension.

Secondary Scope:

You will also need to do SEO research and other content marketing activities. But no prior SEO experience is required (we will train you.)

If you perform well, you will have the option to be trained for a managerial role within 3-6 months.

Requirements

Required Experience:

• 1 - 5 years in a content writing role (approximately)
• You should have written at least 10 blog posts in your entire career.
• Writing for social media, website and landing page copy, etc. does NOT count.
• No experience in SEO required.

Essential Skills:

1. Advanced or native-level proficiency in written English
2. Excellent content writing skills
3. Strong research skills
4. Ability to learn new topics quickly
5. Impeccable spelling and grammar
6. Basic expertise in Google Docs

Additional Skills (optional)
Experience in SEO and other areas of marketing.

Soft Skills

The standards here are the highest in the world. Therefore, even highly experienced writers find it rather challenging. That's why you should have the following soft skills:

1. A very strong desire to learn about SEO and content marketing
2. A strong interest in building a career in content marketing
3. A strong desire to win
4. Ability to work independently and responsibly from a remote location

Finally, we want folks who are happy and believe that they can truly accomplish amazing things!

You should have a laptop and a good internet connection.

Salary Range:

INR 3.6 lakhs to 10 lakhs a year

1. 3.6 lakhs
   0 years of full-time work experience in a writing role (or if you are a student.)
2. 3.6 lakhs - 4.8 lakhs
   6 months to 1 year of full-time work experience in a writing role.
3. Above 6 lakhs
   2+ years of full-time content writing experience and native-level proficiency in written English.
   Alternatively, you should have experience in finance writing for investment research or fintech domains.

• The salary would include a variable component of around 15-25%.
