We are looking for:

You are an experienced Investment Analyst covering the South Asian region. As part of this role, you will be in charge of managing client relationships with field clients, producing due diligence material, analyzing institutional credit risk and country risk for investees and targets and for developing market potential estimates.

Job Description:

Institutions and Market analysis

• Conduct on-site due diligences of financial institutions in South Asia
• Write credit risk appraisals, investment advisory reports and social performance evaluations
• Monitor global situation, opportunities and risks in financial markets of the above-mentioned region
• Develop a pipeline of credit worthy investment targets in specific markets
• Maintain and monitor portfolio of companies, including financial reporting

Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain key partners in countries of your portfolio, participate to the regional and country strategy.
• Maintain and develop networks (FI, regulators, networks, associations, competitors, etc.) in targeted countries
• Be the main point of contact for each investee in the portfolio and develop strong client relationship with each of them.

Prospection and funding needs

• Prospect new investment targets including micro, leasing, SME financing in the allocated existing and prospective markets
• Elaborate proactively funding demand of investees and targets in countries in portfolio

Requirements

Skills/qualifications/experience:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance or you have an equivalent qualification or experience
• You have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in credit analysis, financial analysis or investment management
• You have proven experience in impact investing
• You can demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the South Asian market
• You are organized, have a good attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work
• You have an entrepreneurial drive and are able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
• You are able to handle multiple tasks and projects on a daily basis
• You are fluent English, and ideally have a good command of a regional language
• You are willing to travel for up to 30% of your time
• You are based in India and available to work in Delhi
