We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Python and other tools mentioned below, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
Requirements
Experience working with command line and creating scripts for task automation
Scripting language: PHP (preferred), NodeJS (preferred), Python
Bash scripting
Expertise in configuration for Ubuntu Linux (LTS versions) and Amazon Linux
Git (Bitbucket preferred)
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process, and associated development/release cycles for applications by accessing tools like Jenkins, etc.
Hands-on experience in using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, terraform etc.
Hands-on experience to build and handle VM's
Experience with Containers utilizing Kubernetes, Docker and associated platforms
Hands-on experience in building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Experience with software firewalls, IPS, WAF, and additional security layers (LDAP, SSO, 2Factor).
Expertise in operating Linux environment with good command over any scripting language such as Python or Bash.
Strong knowledge on Web servers (Nginx), configuration on the web servers.
Experience with AWS services such as Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, EC2 , ELB, Cloudfront, S3, Lambda, cloudwatch, Kinesis, EKS.
Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team.
DevOps engineer must have effective leadership and cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
Always be thinking into optimize for less man effort and server throughout
Proven programming experience
To understand risk management and the role you play in managing and reporting risks whether this is internal, financial, technical etc.
Have good written and spoken command of the English Language.
