Quizizz is a platform that enables educators to engage their students with interactive learning experiences. We have grown to be one of the largest education platforms in the world with 0 ad spend, and we now have more traffic than sites like Coursera and Udemy. We serve over 70 million active users with a team of just 25 people. This is possible because we are a platform where teachers from around the world create and share content. Great crowdsourced content is at the heart of Quizizz, and we are looking for a product manager who can help us build the greatest educational content platform in the world. Requirements

What will you be doing?

At a high level, you will be ensuring that teachers can create and discover great content on Quizizz.

1. It starts with the content creation experience, we are constantly improving our content editor tool to allow teachers to create a variety of interactive content. We'd encourage you to create a lesson or quiz on Quizizz to see for yourself.
2. A major aspect of content is also the consumption experience for students. You will be ensuring that all content, especially the interactive varieties, are fun and intuitive for students too. High student engagement is the USP for Quizizz, and engaging content is crucial for achieving it.
3. One of our biggest strengths is our massive userbase of teachers who create content. At our scale, we have millions of quizzes covering every imaginable topic and in every language. This creates a unique problem when trying to surface the best content to teachers. You will have to find innovative ways to identify and surface the best content on the platform.
4. You will also be thinking about how we leverage content as a revenue driver for Quizizz, and how it will fit into our product offerings for teachers, schools and corporates.

What are the skills we're looking for?

As a senior leader at Quizizz, you will be expected to independently drive all initiatives for the content platform. We believe that the following skills would make you a great fit for this role:

1. Experience: We value your skills and work ethic more than the number of years you've worked, but you would likely need at least 3-5 years of product management experience to be a strong candidate.
2. Research and project planning: You will be driving strategy for the content platform on Quizizz, and you will need to be able to glean insights from user surveys, analytics data, market analysis, academic research and more. You will need to assimilate all this information and come up with an action plan that will achieve the company's objectives.
3. Strong user empathy and product design skills: Growth at Quizizz is driven by word of mouth, because we have an amazing product that people love to talk about and share (just check our twitter mentions). This was built through years of continuously listening to our users and building the product that they wanted.
4. Software engineering: A deep understanding of software engineering would be crucial to planning and executing your action plan. Understanding the constraints and capabilities of technology will help you push the boundaries of what is possible, while still delivering projects on time.
5. Team building: The ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team of talented individuals including software engineers, designers and analysts. Being able to attract and retain the best talent would also be a key responsibility.
