About the Company
Blue Sky Analytics is a geospatial data intelligence startup that combines the power of AI amp; Satellite data to aid in the creation of a global environmental data stack.
Our first data set BreeZo on air quality was recognized and awarded by MIT, Patrick J McGovern foundation, and Schmidt Futures. Our second data set Zuri, for tracking of farm and forest fires, won the Space Oscars. We are also part of the global coalition headed by Al Gore, Climate TRACE, and we are extremely excited that it was recently listed in the TIME Top 100 Innovations of 2020. Our funders include Beenext and Rainmatter.
Over the next 12 months, we aim to expand to 10 environmental data-sets spanning water, land, heat, and more! We are looking to grow our team to power this expansion.
Brief

We are looking for a strategy associate who has 1-2 years of experience in working in a range of teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
You should be a multitasker - a versatile individual who is diligent and curious to join our strategy team. The successful candidate will need to blend flexibility with disciplined execution in their work approach, in order to manage competing demands and deliver high-quality work.

What will you do at BSA?
Grow and Scale: Always be in the thick of it. Help the company grow and scale in a sustainable manner. Coordinate and communicate effectively among the different teams.
Liasoning: Representing Blue Sky values, ethics, technology, and innovation in different meetings, forums, and conferences and following-up with various stakeholders with the utmost punctuality.
Partnerships: Closely collaborate with external stakeholders to identify new opportunities and develop partnerships with them.
Opportunity: Identify and evaluate any new consultants or external organizations that work for Blue Sky. Find the best deals for Blue Sky across any particular product or service requirement. The role is akin to a corporate shopper. You should be able to quickly identify 3-5 minimum bids for any external product or service requirement.
Ad Hoc Strategic/Organization Project Support: Provide strategy and planning support for fast-moving opportunities beyond the above that emerge in the Company.

- Background in engineering, data, tech, maths, design, finance, legal is encouraged, but we are open to other backgrounds as well if you are an open and quick learner.
