About Mishipay:

MishiPay (https://mishipay.com/) was founded in 2015 by Mustafa Khanwala (/in) and Tanvi Bhardwaj (/in), bringing the best of the online checkout experience to physical stores.

We do this with our Scan, Pay and Go experience. Using our native apps on Android or iOS, or our web app available on Chrome or Safari, customers scan the products they wish to buy in store using their own phone and pay instantly. This eradicates the need to wait in line or touch store hardware. The current Covid-19 crisis has given us another mission to keep retail staff safe whilst giving shoppers the confidence to return to High Streets and malls.

Requirements

The Mishipay team is looking for a smart, driven Technical Business Analyst to help progress our solution. Being a member of the delivery team, this role will interface with product managers, engineers, operations, and user experience designers to solve exciting challenges.

About You

Please note that we cannot consider your application if you do not have the following:

  • Technical BA Experience in mobile applications and an understanding of software development. We absolutely cannot accept any applications from candidates without mobile experience.
  • BA experience within a Startup OR within a significantly scaling SME/Unicorn product business with a high volume of transactions. Only the following sectors will be considered - ecommerce, retail, Fintech, payments. You MUST have product experience.
  • An Engineering degree from a Tier 1 or Tier college.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written

You’ll also have experience of Agile development teams to successfully deliver enterprise software products (ERP) and/or helping customer and internal systems to integrate seamlessly. You’ll be able to converse easily and fluently with our retail customers, in order to facilitate a smooth product launch and delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Be a leader, backlog owner, and end-user expert for a cross-functional Agile team of developers, quality assurance, and UX designers
  • Interact with product managers, internal subject matter experts, and customer end-users to understand and define the key problems, requirements, workflows, and define solutions
  • Create detailed use cases, supporting functional requirements, workflows, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with User Experience designers to develop amp; approve user experience flows amp; designs
  • Work closely with our development team in an Agile environment to refine, prioritize and support the development, testing and release of functionality
  • Support and lead key internal cross-functional activities necessary for successful product release
  • Collaborate with Product Manager on complex business requirements and designs
  • Support customer feedback sessions, preparing presentations and engaging end users effectively to define innovative solutions
  • Create presentations amp; demos to help train internal teams amp; educate customer users on new functionality
  • Evangelize the product, serving as a point of contact amp; product expert for internal teams amp; external customers
  • Engage with customers, product end-users, product managers, and internal subject matter experts to understand the key requirements and workflows for Mishipay app.
