ABOUT THE ROLE
Toppr is looking for a Team Lead in its Knowledge Team. As a Team Lead, you’ll be responsible to review and deliver high quality lessons and self-learning material in various formats such as video lectures, concept notes, assessments, tests amp; practice questions etc. You’ll play a key role in bringing innovation and creativity in approach to make learning and teaching simple.

HOW YOU’LL RAMP
In First Week
- Understand Toppr’s journey, its values and mission.
- Spend time with the Knowledge, Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to get up-to-speed on Toppr’s offering, its competition, and future outlook.
By Day 30
- Define the objectives and key results (OKRs) that Toppr’s knowledge strategy must achieve.
- Coordinate with team and build the roadmap for content development.
- Guide and manage subject matter experts - on-boarding, task allocation and review of their work.
- Make decisions and develop content based on students’ feedback, understanding their learning needs.
By Day 90
- Dig deeper and pick projects that matter to Toppr and its success.
- Gain complete understanding of the product, its architecture and features.
- Define metrics and analyze data to measure engagement levels and performance of students.
- Mentor and nurture the team to move to the next level
Requirements
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD/Masters/Bachelors/Engineering (for Math amp; Science) in respective subjects with strong subject knowledge.
- At least 5+ years of experience in content development and 1+ year(s) in team management.
- Pedagogy expert- can explain complex concepts in simple ways.
- Excellent team amp; project management skills. Prior experience in managing teams and projects is required.
- Excellent in verbal and written communication.
- Carries entrepreneurial mindset and suitable for start-up culture
