Job Description
As a Director of Finance at Mutual Mobile, you'll be responsible for:
Planning
- Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic business plans
- Developing financial and tax strategies
- Managing capital requests and budgeting processes
- Developing performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Reporting
- Fully responsible for all financial statements
- Coordinate, Manage, prepare the corporate annual report for Mutual Mobile’s Board members
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Calculate and issue financial and operational metrics
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Provide for a system of management cost reports
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Prepare weekly, quarterly and annual reporting
Financial Management
- Oversee the issuance of financial information
- Report financial results to the board of directors
- Monitor cash balances and cash flow forecasts
- Arrange for debt and equity financing
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Maintain banking and financial relationships
Requirements
You’ll excel in this position IF:
- You have 6-8 years of total experience.
- Have a background working in a Finance team of IT services firm.
- You obsess over margins and quarterly revenue guidance to the last decimal point.
- You can efficiently present information to the board of directors.
- Understand the nuances between different engagement models and are comfortable negotiating software deals without compromising on margins.
- You have a passion for learning.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (Finance Major, preferred)
- Professional credentials like CA/ CFA
- M.B.A with Corporate Strategy is preferred
