Magazine.Barbaricum is seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to provide support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. This individual will integrate as a part of the Power and Energy Systems Division to provide engineering and logistics support for electrochemical power systems, electronic interconnect technology products, and alternative energy systems.Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilities.
- Work closely with computers.
- Specialize in different areas such as power generation, transmission, distribution, communications, and electrical equipment manufacturing.
- Design new products, write performance requirements, and develop maintenance schedules.
- Test equipment, solve operating problems, and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects.
Qualifications- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience
