What's the opportunity?

As Manager of sales operations, your work would have an enormous influence on business decisions. The role would involve supporting the global sales team with all operational requirements in a timely manner; ensuring processes are in place for operational efficiencies to support rapid scaling and that reporting provides insights into where attention needs to be given and pinpoints the reasons why they fell short of or hit their goals. As the right-hand to sales leadership, you would be counted on to find answers to the hard questions. You would also be managing a growing team of sales operations professionals and would be responsible for prioritizing tasks, providing strategic input and guidance to make sure deadlines and company objectives are met.

Requirements

What will I be doing?

  • Responsible for the complex reporting and analysis involved in sales forecasting
  • Oversee the sales funnel and ensure that its always accurate and up to date
  • Develop key performance metrics to measure the activities that have the most significant impact on sales productivity
  • Develop necessary reports to track those KPIs over time, and compile dashboards that sales leaders can use to keep tabs on their team
  • Optimize the sales process by working with sales leaders
  • Recognize trends in data and provide recommendations to sales leadership
  • Be the owner of the sales tech stack and evaluate new sales technology vendors as the organization scales
  • Manage the CRM (Salesforce) infrastructure by collaborating with the Salesforce Admin.
  • Scale the team by hiring ops analysts and offer continuous guidance and mentorship for them to achieve their objectives
  • Analyze Pricing and Bundle Structures across regions and verticals and make recommendations
  • Identify any inefficiencies in Sales Team performance/execution and recommend solutions. Such decision making should be based on having deep data analysis capabilities built within the team.


What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree with an MBA from a top tier school
  • At least 8+ years' experience with 5 years of experience working in sales operations/associated function
  • Have good business acumen on how sales organizations operate and scale
  • Experience hiring and managing a team of analysts
  • Deep expertise in sales automation and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable presenting findings to the executive team
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a focus on delivering results
  • Willingness to work extended hours during periods of high demand like quarter-close or year-end
  • A strong sense of ownership and a pro-active attitude
  • Attention to detail, proc
