Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a strong UI Lead/Manager/Architect who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviour with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.. As a UI Manger you will be responsible for development and design, definition and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of front-end platform for Zycus products.
Requirements
Experience: 8+ yrs
Skills Required:
- Must have strong experience in advance version of Angular.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/Object Oriented JS, its quirks, and workarounds.
- Understanding with performance optimization and scaling of UI application
- Understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Understanding of modern JavaScript development techniques.
- Understanding of UI Componentization and Modularization.
- Understanding of Asynchronous Request handling techniques
- Understanding of REST and MVC
- Understanding the usage of modern task automation and build tools like NPM, Bower, Grunt/Gulp/Webpack etc
- Understanding of Unit testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma
- Proficient understanding of Cross-Browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN or GIT
- Good to have JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Good to have understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID OOP principles
Leadership Abilities:
- Should be able to optimize amp; effectively manage resources and time of the team members.
- Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product
- Should not hesitate to carry out healthy and constructive confrontation with team members, peers and managers for the benefit of Product.
