Your day to day responsibilities will include
Support in setting up the process and procedure with other business functions on how tocentralize the Indirect Procurement activities together with the process of handling the approvaland issuance of Purchase Orders.
Managing and supporting cost reduction projects.
India, Regional or Worldwide sourcing of materials/products and services within the given
category.
Collate Indirect Spend data when required.
Analyze and understand spend patterns across various categories and identify critical suppliers
and opportunities to reduce costs.
Market research to keep up to date on changing product trends, commodity price movements
and legislative requirements and changes that may impact on pricing.
Review all vendors, reducing vendors across common areas and drive low volume to spend into
preferred higher value agreements to help reduce total spend.
Develop common agreements with various stakeholders on action on how to support the
lowering of total spend cost or lowering of the total cost of ownership.
Work with HOD Procurement amp; Supply Chain to contribute to shaping our sourcing strategy in
Indirect Spend for the business.
Ensure any strategy, process or procedures are executed successfully to drive improvement in
total spend for all Indirect.
Develop contractual agreements with preferred suppliers where necessary.
Management of suppliers to drive quality standards, adherence to product specifications, and
continuous improvement initiatives.
Make full use of technology such as e-procurement tools and processes.
May be required to manage 1 or 2 direct reports.

Proven negotiation skills.
Experience in analyzing sometimes complex data.
Experience in drafting tender and contractual documents.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
Ability to present information to senior management as well as to subordinates staff members.
