The Role

This role will be a remote role - you can work from the comforts of your home!

As a Senior Backend Developer you will be responsible for all the technical decisions within the team, collaborate with all the developers and the product team to create the best solution possible. Mentoring will also be a daily part of your routine so great communication skills will be important!

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement great Architecture solutions
• Great communication skills.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Convey all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues effectively.
• Solve complex performance and scalability challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications amp; Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in web development
• Great understanding of what good practices entail
• You have good knowledge of PHP/Laravel development, object-oriented PHP and Laravel 7/8 PHP Framework
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design is required.
• Practical experience in writing automated tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc)
• Good background in building complex products which are able to handle requests by millions of users
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the codebase in check
• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented and a team player
• Able to make sure that the platforms keep up with high standards of scalability, stability, security, and performance.
• Working experience and understanding in Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience working on continuous delivery
