We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-driven Manager in GL to add to our growing team in our office in Hyderabad, India. Selected Candidate needs to Supervising all activities of Treasury, Intercompany, Payroll and GL ensuring processes are undergoing smoothly with agreed timelines and accuracy. Ensuring clearing of bottle-necks, maintaining efficiency in delivery of agreed services. Responsible for publishing balance sheet and Pamp;L to Group Controller monthly within timelines.
Key Responsibilities would include:
- Supervise the Treasury, Intercompany, Payroll and GL activities, providing guidance to team members as needed to ensure accuracy and timely processing of information.
- Identifying bottle-necks and gaps in process flow and addressing them with clear solutions.
- Establish, develop metric-based reporting, including creating reports dashboard for internal and external reporting.
- Direct team and their functions with proper strategy, plan and execution with an intent to deliver outputs meaningful to the management.
- Develop and maintain strong sets of financial controls in the areas of Revenue amp; Capital expenditure, Sales, Cost of sales, Assets and Liabilities in line with company policies and standards.
- Reviewing MIS and ensuring Revenue and Cost trends are clearly in agreement with plans and budgets.
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure controls are operating as designed and timelines are met in completing the reconciliations.
- Maintaining at most accuracy in publishing reports and information as required by management.
- Ensures information is kept highly confidential, ensuring data and information integrity to protect the company’s and stakeholder’s interests.
- Train, coach team members on policies, standards, controls and procedures to maintain excellency in delivery of service.
- Extend audit support as and when required. Accepting challenging responsibilities and ownership of new assignments and roles.
Requirements
- Candidate should be CA or ICWA Qualified.
- 5 -10 years' of experience in GL Accounting..
- Written and verbal communication skills.
