Requirements
What will you do
- Develop the core Noon Academy product for teacher and student. Work closely with PM and design teams to solve product problems.
- Build next gen live interactive experience for classroom, questions practice, peer learning and competition.
- Operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick decisions and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes.
- Work closely with operations and infrastructure to optimize and fine tune systems for speed, robustness, and cost efficiency.
- We use: Java amp; Golang to write code, MySql, Cassandra or MongoDB for persistence, Elastic seach and redis for index and caching.
Who will be a good fit
- Proficiency in a Java/Go programming language with strong foundation in data structures/algorithms and understanding of multi-threading, synchronisation, concurrent programming.
- 6+ years of experience in backend development. Good Understanding of distributed (microservice) systems and associated trade-offs. You like to design your solution, colloborate with peers and also focus on non functional aspects like scale, performance, availability etc.
- Experience in building systems to solve real time communication problems like webrtc, socket, network bandwidth.
- Knowledge of MySql and Cassandra or any other NoSQL database.
- Experience building data intensive applications on Kafka.
- You take great pride in building efficient product that creates values to human beings
- You understand the business impact of the feature you are building. You can find the right balance between delivery and ideal stuff.
