Requirements
What will you do:
- Own the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
- Drive services to go live through activities such as system design, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Write and review codes for automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
- Take ownership and troubleshoot sophisticated systems under pressure.
- Partake in on-call rotation with DevOps and backend engineers.
- We use: AWS,Kubernetes (EKS),Helm chart, Ansible, Terraform,Jenkins, Vault, Consul, RDS/ES/Kafka/Mongo/Scylla/Cassandra
- Practice sustainable incident response and root cause analysis.
Who will be a good fit:- 8+years of solid technical experience and expertise.
- You are comfortable in taking the whole team together, and value team success over personal success.
- Proficiency in Systems amp; Networking [Linux]
- Architect level knowledge on Cloud computing platform [Preferable AWS]
- Knowledgeable in any of Container Orchestration tools, preferably kubernetes. Proficiency in administration and tuning knowledge on SQL/NoSQL [RDS/ES/Kafka/Mongo/Scylla]
- Proficiency in one or more of the following language: Java, Python, Go."
- Proficiency in debugging large scale distributed systems and technologies, for example, load balancing, monitoring/logging, distributed systems, and configuration management [Terraform/Vault/Consul]
- Good understanding amp; experience with software engineering best practices like Automation and CI-CD
- You take great pride in building an effiecient product that creates value to its users You understand the business impact of the feature you are building. You can find the right balance between delivery and ideal stuff.
