Requirements
What would you do:
- Develop the core Noon Academy product for teacher and student.
- Develop new user-facing features
- Modular design - Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web pages
- Refine and suggest better solutions to problems
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Lead by example on quality UI interaction standards and brand consistency and help team to do the same
- Collaborate with other peers, designers, backend developers to improve usability
- Architect solutions and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
You will fit right in if you have:
- User obsession and empathy driven mindset
- Focus on impact and results. You work on the right things and get them done
- Strong command of JavaScript and associated technologies (ES6+, Node, etc.)
- 8+ years of experience with modern web technologies and reactive frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
- Proven effectiveness to ship stable, beautiful amp; testable and high-performance features/apps end-to-end
- Demonstrated emphasis on observability, and having a keen eye on data pipelines and reports based on them
- Natural drive to help others, be able to coach and mentor individual engineers
- Track record of recruiting, retaining, and growing high performing talent
- Experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications
- Experience with multi-language, multi-country, and multi-currency web apps
- Defined engineering processes for an engineering team or organisation
- Optimised web-app performance on low end-devices with CSR amp; SSR patterns
- Extensive experience working with SEO for mid-large scale applications
- Knowledge of infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, web serving or monitoring
- Worked on optimising web-apps for performance on low end-devices with either CSR,SSR or both
