Sr. Service Reliability Engineer - III / IVJob Location: India - HYDNotes from hiring manager: Need someone exp with Informatica MDM/IDQ amp; GCP experience Job Description:* Ability to build and optimize data sets, 'big data / Data Lake' data pipelines and architectures* Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions* Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets* Ability to build processes that support data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency and metadata* Automation Expert across CI/CD and cloud infrastructure management* Build monitoring and alerting infrastructure to support operations and system health* Ensure all systems are high availability at high scaleQualifications:• 5+ Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica)• 4+ years of Python or Java development experience• 4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus)• 4+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling• 5+ years of experience building complex distributed systems• 2+ years of experience in managing public cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)• Experience with configuration management systems (Chef, Ansible)• Expertise in multiple version control systems (Git, GitHub, BitBucket)Key Responsibilities:• Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.• Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.• Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.• Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.• Create custom software components and analytics applications.• Research new uses for existing data.• Collaborate with members of your team (eg, data architects, the IT team, data scientists) on the project's goals.• Install/update disaster recovery procedures.• Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.• Assist with major upgrades to ensure minimum downtime• Educate peers about best standards, processes and technologies• Serve as the SME for selecting technology candidates and self-healing capabilities for future service development• Perform large scale automation, combining independent processes into robust behavior• Participate in follow-the-sun, on-call rotation with team members
