What you’ll be doing
Jovaris Tech is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to support technical drawing and documentation work in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will convert design concepts, specifications, and markups into accurate and well-organized CAD drawings for internal review and project delivery.

- Prepare, revise, and maintain detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings based on technical requirements and approved design inputs.
- Interpret sketches, notes, measurements, and project specifications to produce accurate drafting outputs.
- Apply company drawing standards, layer conventions, title blocks, dimensions, annotations, and revision controls.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to clarify drafting requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable project standards.
- Organize CAD files and supporting documentation while maintaining clear version control.
- Assist with drawing updates, redlines, as-built documentation, and timely delivery of assigned drafting work.
- Manage multiple drawing tasks while meeting agreed deadlines.
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating, editing, dimensioning, and annotating precise 2D technical drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical sketches, layouts, specifications, measurements, and redline markups.
- Strong understanding of layers, blocks, external references, templates, title blocks, plotting, and drawing standards.
- Experience maintaining organized CAD files, revision histories, and project documentation.
- Ability to check scale, dimensions, alignment, labeling, and drawing completeness.
- Ability to coordinate with engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders.
- Time management, problem-solving, written communication, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard document management practices is beneficial.
