POSITION TITLE: Supply Chain Manager – Operations

WORK LOCATION: Thane, Maharashtra, India (On-site)

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time | Day Shift

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager – Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, procurement support, and process compliance while ensuring seamless coordination across departments. This is a key on-site role requiring strong operational expertise and the willingness to visit warehouse facilities as needed to monitor and streamline daily operations. (Experience required: 10–15 years)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inventory Management & Warehouse Operations

Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy, including expiry monitoring.

Oversee storage, handling, and key warehouse processes (GRN, pick-pack-ship, inward/outward movement).

Improve warehouse layouts, ensure safety compliance, and maintain efficient workflows.

2. Transportation & Logistics

Coordinate movement of goods, negotiate with carriers, and manage transport schedules.

Prepare daily shipment and logistics reports covering weight, rates, and delivery status.

3. Planning & Order Fulfilment

Develop demand forecasts, inventory plans, and production schedules.

Ensure timely and accurate order processing in collaboration with sales and operations teams.

Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective delivery management.

4. Compliance, Analysis & Improvement

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Track KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, transportation efficiency) and generate daily/weekly reports.

Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency, conducting impact analyses for approved changes.

5. Partner & Process Management

Build strong relationships with customers and logistics partners; conduct market research to onboard new partners.

Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, and compliance.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

10–15 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management.
Graduate or Post-graduate degree in any discipline.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
Experience in the healthcare sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
Willingness to work from the Thane office and make warehouse visits as operationally required.
