About the Role:

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing system architectures while providing hands-on technical leadership across development teams. This role requires strong experience in system design, database architecture, API development, and coding. The ideal candidate must have delivered multiple end-to-end projects and will work closely with global teams on modernization and integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis & Architecture Design

Evaluate existing systems to identify performance gaps, technical issues, and scalability challenges.
Design modern, secure, and scalable system architectures aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation.
Create modernization and migration strategies for legacy systems.
Ensure all architectural solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.

Data Management & Integration

Assess current data flow, data quality, and processing pipelines across various systems.
Define data validation rules, governance standards, and quality frameworks.
Design efficient data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), and integration pipelines.
Enhance system interoperability and ensure optimized data operations.

Technical Leadership & Coding

Provide hands-on coding support using Java, Python, SQL, and related technologies.
Build and review APIs, microservices, and system integration frameworks.
Guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Up to 10 years of IT experience with strong exposure to system architecture and design.
Proven experience designing system architecture, APIs, and database structures.
Must have delivered multiple end-to-end projects across various domains.
Strong hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, and SQL.
Skilled in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Experience developing and integrating APIs (REST, SOAP).
Must reside within 20 km of Powai, Mumbai (On-site requirement).

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

Java, Python, SQL
API development (REST/SOAP)
Database management (MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
Unit & integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber)
Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

Technical Skills (Preferred):

Experience with Agile/Scrum
Exposure to large-scale integration or migration projects
Knowledge of system and performance optimization

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Strategic thinking and solid planning skills
Self-driven, independent, and able to take full ownership of tasks
