Data Analyst

A Data Analyst is responsible for the actual content published on marketplaces on behalf of clients, its overall completeness, accuracy, and quality. The Data Analyst has a broad knowledge of marketplaces, listing platforms, tools, clients, company products, etc. The role works closely with the Onboarding and Account Management departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

The responsibilities for the role fall under several areas:

Data Building, Optimisation and Listing

Building eBay and Amazon listings in accordance to best practices

Optimizing and structuring Data Sheets from customers

Optimising eBay and Amazon listings

Writing content where necessary to improve listing quality

Finding and applying fitment to listings directly on marketplaces

Maintaining the integrity of the data throughout the process from receiving the initial file to go-live date, including ongoing maintenance

Matching content and cross-match against databases

Ensuring account and data compliance with different e-commerce platforms

Data QA – performing checks on the data prior and post publication on the quality, structure, and completeness

Boosting listings

Setting up workflows between systems

Scraping in order to get data and processing the scraped data

Listing or Onboarding Platforms

Working with platforms such as Linnworks, Volo, Magento, etc

Developing, optimizing, and publishing client product data through Third Party Platforms on Marketplaces

Applying fitment to listings through a platform

Setting up platforms

Marketplaces

Solving feed errors on marketplaces

Tracking for account/listings issues on a regular basis and reporting any such to management in a timely manner

Updating stock according to the agreed client method on single or multiple platforms

Staying up to date with any important Marketplaces updates

Skills – Must have

Excellent Excel skills - PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP, merging data, etc.

Data handling and analysis skills

Very good level of English – C1

Excellent knowledge in Marketplaces – Amazon, eBay, etc

Excellent knowledge in listing platforms – Linnworks, Magento, Volo, etc

An eye for detail and accuracy

The ability to work quickly and meet deadlines

Strong computer skills

Investigative and Trouble Shooting Skills
