About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ruby Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ruby development, with a deep understanding of web technologies and database management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
- Integration of data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience in Ruby development.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails (6.1.6) and Ruby (2.7.6).
- Proficient in front-end technologies, specifically JavaScript and Angular (1.7).
- Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and server-side templating languages.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful.
- A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
