Job Description
As a Graphic Designer at Studio Proximity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' visual identities. You will lead design projects, provide conceptual and visual direction, oversee motion and illustration design, and execute identity projects from inception to completion. Your role will require excellent communication skills to present concepts and ideas to clients with clarity and confidence.
This role is Mumbai-based and you will be required to work from the office.
you will be responsible for
- Being a hands-on graphic designer, and creating original, exciting, sporty graphics.
- Collaborating with teams to conceptualize and create several graphics and interactions to use in the final product.
- Visually solving user problems with the help of data and research.
- Following best practices and proven design standards, guidelines, and methodologies while producing quality graphics.
- Creating flows and processes for visualization and storyboarding.
- Helping to create guidelines for typography and colour usage in the creatives.
- Researching and presenting background information on proposed design concepts.
- Providing support for everything related to graphic design.
- Effectively communicating and conceptualizing ideas and following the product design and graphic design guidelines.
- Owning the quality of visual design execution for your designs as well as constantly improving standards.
- Presenting and defending your work to colleagues, other teams, and management.
- Giving suggestions/feedback while brainstorming.
- Contributing to the development of the design team to promote learning, growth, comradeship and innovative thinking across the organization.
you need to have
- 5+ years of experience.
- Experience executing graphic design projects independently and hands-on.
- A deep understanding of design elements and their thoughtful application in the form of design principles.
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop + Adobe Illustrator.
bonus points for
- Having the ability to process designs with a cognitive, strategic, and practical approach
- Having the ability to conceptualize, ideate and create animations (gifs) and videos with the provided specs
- Having some knowledge of UI standards, and the ability to give suggestions/opinions/feedback on UI decisions.
- Having created comprehensive guidelines for producing quality graphics.
- Knowledge of After Effects.
