We are searching for a qualified candidate to join our Trading System Integration QA team. The candidate should have a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic trading environment. We seek a self-starter that can work independently as well as thrive
and contribute to a growing team.
What you will do:
- Understand the various points of integration between our trading system and external counterparties (clients and brokers)
- Analyze and understand the idiosyncratic characteristics of every integration.
- Work with the trading system development team to spec out and prioritize custom integration requests from clients or brokers.
- Manage the end-to-end FIX testing, integration and certification processes for clients and brokers.
- Work with Execution services team to help with the troubleshooting during the go live phase for clients and brokers.
- Maintain the firm’s standard FIX integration documentation and FIX ATDLs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation around integration with each counterparty.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the onboarding process, FIX configuration, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Provide training to internal teams on FIX-related topics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, mathematics or other quantitative fields with a strong foundation in programming.
- Strong preference for demonstrated proficiency in SQL and R or Python, but experience using at least one programming language is required.
- Strong An understanding of financial markets, algorithmic trading and order routing concepts and electronic trading systems is a plus.
- Proven experience working with FIX protocol, ATDL, and its implementation in a trading environment is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with financial markets, order routing, and execution workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with working during AMER or EMEA time zones.
