Senior Oracle DBA

ProArch is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to join our team. As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Oracle databases to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Oracle database solutions to meet business requirements.
• Configure and maintain Oracle database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Perform database backups, restoration, patching and recovery activities.
• Detect and troubleshoot database-related issues, including database performance tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective database design and implementation.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database configuration, processes, and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technology.

Requirements

• 8+ Years of extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator working on large to very large databases and in 24*7 systems.
• Sense of Database Architecture Multitenancy Architecture with CDB and PDB
• Experience in Oracle 19C
• Strong experience in Scripting(Shell/Python/Bash) to automate DBA activities. Preferably Shell Scripting
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
• Proficiency in database backup, restoration, and recovery techniques
• Good understanding of database security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Shift timings 6 PM to 3 AM (Night shifts), need to be available for extended work hours and stretch based on the business requirements
