Job Description

  • Collate project hours profiles, subcontracts, materials, Risk Contingencies and all other project costs to create project budgets and forecasts.
  • Periodic entry of all project hours profiles and costs into the Project Cost system (SAP)
  • Capturing and system entry of actual costs (sub-contract/direct) and using data to contribute to robust project forecasts of cost to go
  • Run reports to provide project teams and PMO team with up-to-date project costs.
  • Act as PMO administrator and main point of contact for the Cost System (SAP). Manage the set-up of new users within Projects and resolve timesheet issues.
  • Support the Estimating function with the collation of historic projects actuals to aid with the generation of Estimates
  • Support the application within Projects of our Flow Assurance processes and participate to their improvement (monthly feedback / lessons learnt).
  • Help with ah-hoc queries coming from Projects Management or PMO teams on Projects costs

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess over 2-4 years’ experience in an engineering project environment including demonstrated execution and delivery.
  • Highly experienced with Cost/ERP systems.
  • Advance Excel skills, ideally with knowledge of Power BI and automated reporting
  • Experience with Project Cost Control and Earned Value Management techniques.
  • Demonstrated levels of autonomy, diligence and a collaborative, positive nature is essential.
  • Comfortable with the tension between expectations to operate independently yet proactively engaging with others for support when needed support a no surprises culture
  • Demonstrable experience driving project delivery excellence in ambiguous and changing circumstances
  • A striving attitude towards fully automated cost reporting minimising the use of standalone Excel files
