The Role:
We are in search of a Senior QA Engineer with extensive expertise in both manual and automation testing. Based in Amplifi Capital's subsidiary office - Gojoko Technologies in Noida.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in using Selenium for automation testing, Appium for mobile automation testing, and Postman/Rest Assured for API testing. Furthermore, they should demonstrate a strong grasp of test design frameworks such as TDD and BDD. Experience in Salesforce testing and the banking domain is considered advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases with precision and skill.
- Work harmoniously and collaboratively with the development team to ensure the delivery of a top-notch product.
- Create and maintain cutting-edge test automation frameworks using Selenium and Appium.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or Rest Assured to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Join forces with the development team to implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes that streamline our software development lifecycle.
- Keep abreast of the latest testing techniques and tools to continually elevate our testing capabilities.
- Take part in code and design reviews to ensure the highest possible standards are met.
- Thoroughly document testing results and effectively communicate findings to the development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Extensive experience in manual testing
- Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium with Java, preferably
- Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium
- Experience in API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
- Familiarity with test design frameworks such as TDD and BDD
- ISTQB Certification is a plus
- Salesforce testing experience is a plus
- Banking domain experience is a plus
- Good knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Preferred experience in JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools
- AIO tests
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
