About the Investors

W Health Ventures is a Boston-based, healthcare-focused VC fund started in 2020 with the goal of investing in healthcare delivery innovation leveraging technology and AI in the US and India. Key Result Area Backend Developer

Design and Build

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform, Web (React preferred) - (given an HTML, JPEG).
• Design modules w.r.t API request/response,

Release / Delivery Quality

• Ensuring Code is as per solution / tech design.
• QA other developers' front-end pieces for bugs
• Code Reviews as per standards.
• QA process
• Release / Migration without any downtime.

Project Management

• Coordinating with different teams (both in-house and external) to get assigned tasks/changes done in time for Release.

Technical Advancement

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Explore newer tech areas / solutions available for integration.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
• 3 years+ of experience in Frontend software development or a related field.
• 3 years+ of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Critical Skills for This Role

1) Programming amp; Problem Solving

• Strong in Data Structures and Algorithms
• Good Problem-Solving skills.
• Should have good fundamentals of MVC, REST, Service based architecture, Databases MYSQL.
• Should have a good understanding of design patterns.

2) Technical Exposure

• Proven working experience in App development, Web - React (Preferred), Cross Platform
• Should be willing to work on any Tech Stack and Programming Language (Python/ JAVA/ Flutter / etc.).
