Job Description
Lakshya is looking for Lead / Senior Animation Trainer who will take care of all internal Technical Training needs of the Organization, focused on 3D Video Game Animation which comprises of Keyframe and Motion Capture. These further would include Character/Creature animations, Props animation, Weapon animation etc. And produce highly skilled project ready artists to the Production team.
Requirements
A. Technical Skills
1. Overall experience of 7+ years with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in creating game animations for AAA title game projects.
2. Exposure to wide range of 3D animation like Characters, Creatures, Weapons, props etc. both in keyframe and motion capture animations.
3. Conduct visual story telling/Acting classes for creating realistic and highly stylized animation.
4. Strong demonstratable ability in using industry standard softwares such as 3D Studio Max, Maya and MotionBuilder.
5. Experience in additional software such as Blender and preparing optimized assets for importing into game engine like Unreal engine/Unity is a plus point.
6. Ability to foresee technical challenges of production and apply problem-solving skills when required in situations like meeting deadlines, adhering to meeting quality and client’s expectations.
7. Proficiency in preparing time estimation, plan and supervise game art asset creation work.
8. Some training experience is a big plus.
B. Other Skills
1. Ability to create, manage and prioritize the goals/tasks effectively.
2. Strong Communication skills verbal, written and presentation.
3. Ability to effectively deliver Feedback and take feedback.
4. Ability to deliver advance training skills to varied audience students, candidates, faculties etc.
5. Able to demonstrate and share knowledge with candidates effectively and enthuse them in learning process.
6. Good people management skills especially conflicts.
7. Basic content development skills to prepare content for 3D Animations.
8. Smart and effective evaluation of candidates via assessments, assignments, interviews etc.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct training for the candidates to develop artistic and technical skills on Game animation creation and Game animation process related to it.
2. Ensure that candidates are equipped with required skills to produce high quality work and become project ready.
3. Train the trainers/candidates on 3D animation tools, techniques and integration using game engine as per pipeline established by Production teams.
4. Create and update Training curriculum keeping in line with current and future trends of the production needs.
5. Review and provide constructive feedback to candidates and ensure they are well aligned with the best practices.
6. Coach amp; mentor, the candidates to ensure they are motivated and bring out the best of their abilities. And emphasize on company culture as well.
7. Work closely with the Lamp;D Head and Animation Leadership to plan and conduct trainings.
8. Help inGame team in creating analytics and progress reports for candidates.
9. Collaborate with Recruitment team in shortlisting and evaluation of candidates for inGame batches.
10. Participate in all other activities of Lamp;D team at Lakshya, when called upon.
