Requirements

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our finance team in Delhi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with German/UK accounting standards and regulations. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for various accounting functions, financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. This is an Individual contributor role and would require to work closely with the other team members based in other geographic locations.

Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA

Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in the field of accounting.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.

· Extensive experience (5+ years) in accounting roles, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance in a German context.

· Knowledge of IFRS, German GAAP (HGB), UK GAAP and tax regulations.

· Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
. Knowledge of German Language would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable GAAP and IFRS.

· Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.

General Ledger Management:

· Maintain the general ledger and oversee the accuracy of all accounting transactions.

· Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Tax Compliance:

· Stay abreast of changes in German/UK tax laws and regulations.

· Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax requirements.

Audit Support:

· Coordinate and support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.

Cash Management:

· Manage cash flow, including monitoring bank balances and reconciling Cash/bank accounts.

· Executing payments on time by preparing, creating and checking outstanding invoices and bank balances.

Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB) and other relevant regulations.

· Keep abreast of changes in accounting principles and standards.

Process Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations.

· Implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the finance function.

Team Collaboration:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance.

· Mentor and train junior members of the finance team.
