As a technical recruiter at Obviously AI, you will be on the ground floor of an incredible opportunity to pair your people and communication skills to help build a foundational team for business. The team you build today will be the single most important thing for our success and you will be at the forefront of running every aspect of it. You will handle both pre and post recruiting efforts, including but not limited to: crafting job descriptions, interview process, running interviews, conducting outreach to candidates, ensuring current employees have the right resources to succeed and onboarding new employees.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who really wants to get their hands dirty in a small, scrappy team. You should be excited about the idea of taking on different challenges everyday, specially ones where you have to pitch the business to various candidates and get them excited to join. You'll report directly to the CEO, you'll be a key proponent of Obviously AI’s early success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage top talent in India through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Hold HR style social gatherings and team-building activities.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract candidates that align with our company culture and values.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications to ensure a strong match with job requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and team members, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Evaluate candidates' technical skills, cultural fit, and potential for long-term success within the team.
  • Extend offers to selected candidates and negotiate compensation packages when necessary.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire and retention rates, and use data to make informed decisions and improve the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
