Rapyuta Robotics, an ETH Zurich spin-off headquartered in Tokyo, operates with a vision to become the global leader in making robots more accessible for anyone in the logistics market. We lead the pick-assist AMR market in Japan and are backed by investors such as Goldman Sachs, Sony, and Yaskawa. We are opening a global hub in Chennai, an independent center to enable our global expansion.

You will be part of our global business analytics team, with an initial focus on the Rapyuta ASRS product. You will closely work with the sales, engineering, and customer success squads to ensure our products are more accessible and useful for our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with pre-sales engineering to capture the current warehousing volume and propose an optimal ASRS plan in the sales phase.
• Run simulations and report the findings to team members, customers, etc.
• Conduct bottleneck analysis for each customer using ASRS operational logs.
• Construct and improve processes, environments, and tools for the above activities.
• Provide the findings and ideas gained from these activities to RapYuta members for better product development, customer negotiation, etc.
• Engage in team building and management as the aspiring Chennai BA team lead.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, Excel, and Google Spreadsheets (including functions, aggregations, and charts).
• Over 5 years of professional experience in the analytics field, including analyzing, reporting, and presentation.
• Over 3 years of work experience or equivalent skills in data handling with Python, especially Pandas and Matplotlib.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
