What will your day look like?
- Design, develop, test, implement and support applications on SAP ECC/EWM software.
- Customize and configure SAP EWM system based on business requirements.
- Work on EWM master data setup, storage types, bins, and other relevant configurations.
- Develop and modify ABAP programs to enhance SAP EWM functionalities.
- Collaborate with other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration with EWM.
- Design and implement data interfaces between SAP EWM and external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to review the business requirement and design, build, test and implement variety of SAP objects.
- Independent task handling and providing optimum technical solutions to Functional team.
- Conduct technical research with recommendations for action into IT related topics: upgrades, systems, methodologies, software, etc.
- Collaborate effectively with resources working at different geographical locations to accomplish slated objectives.
- Perform integration testing with multiple external/bolt-on systems, cutover activities.
- Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Stay abreast of SAP applications development and new technologies.
Skills and attributes for success:
- 6+ years of experience for Senior Consultant role and 3+ Years of experience for Consultant role in EWM ABAP with focus on various communication techniques with external systems e. g. idocs, webservices amp; Interfaces, ABAP proxies, APIs etc
- Should have good working experience in SAP EWM technical areas.
- Good understanding and solid experience in Warehouse processes and in logistics execution area.
- Hands-on experience with PPF.
- Experience in Monitor Functions.
- Proficient in OOPS ABAP, EWMBADI, ECC BADI, Smart forms
- Good understanding of service provider class framework.
- Good understating of idocs, webservices, ABAP proxies, API etc.
- Good understanding of quality tools and processes, performance tuning in SAP EWM.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data and its implications to various stakeholders.
- MBA, MS Degree preferred, Bachelors degree required
