The Role - As a Senior Software Engineer in the Content team, you will be required to use your expertise with NodeJs and Javascript programming to write robust and scalable code. We are looking for an expert NodeJs developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, detail-oriented, with a can-do attitude and should be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Mandatory skill set:
- An expert problem solver, passionate about solving complex technology challenges
- Masters or Bachelor’s in computer science or a related subject.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience working with Web Technologies and Software Development related to platforms using Javascript, Node JS, Docker etc.
- Experience in developing, integrating and testing using Rest APIs.
- Experience in writing unit test cases, with testing framework like Jest.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Strong fundamentals in Algorithms, OOPs and Data Structure.
- Knowledge on Chrome debugger/Postman/Fiddler/Swagger
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Collaborate with team members in a multi-functional product team
Preferred skill set:
- Knowledge and experience with TypeScript would be an added advantage.
- Agile development experience.
- Understanding of Elastic tools like Kibana/Grafana etc would be an added advantage.
- Experience with GCP is a plus
- Experience with code review tools like SonarQube
