Rapyuta Robotics is an ETH Zurich startup headquartered in Tokyo that operates with a vision to become the global leader in making robots more accessible. We lead the pick-assist AMR market in Japan and are backed by Goldman Sachs, Sony, and Yaskawa as investors.

We are opening a global hub in Chennai, an independent center to enable our global expansion. We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator with a knack for strategic thinking to join our IT team. This role is critical in managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security and efficiency, while also contributing to the strategic IT planning and execution that supports our company's growth and innovation goals.

Role and responsibilities

• System Administration: Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure including cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance
• IT Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security measures, conduct regular security audits, and ensure compliance
• Strategic IT Planning: Contribute to the development of IT strategies, policies, and practices that align with our business objectives and growth plans.
• Application and Account Management: Oversee the management of application accounts and access rights, ensuring data security and compliance.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure a high level of user satisfaction.
• Budget Management: Assist in the planning and management of the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and utilization of IT resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a strong background in MS365/Dynamics365-based IT infrastructure, security, and Azure cloud services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, and strong task management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and IT management practices.
• Resident of Chennai and willing to work from the office
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and strong task management skills
• (nice to have) Experience in strategic IT planning, policy development, and compliance management (GDPR, ISO 27001).
• (Must-have) Relevant professional certifications(Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent)
