We're actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to fortify our Observability team. The driving force behind crafting, developing, and deploying our foundational observability platform services. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in our pursuit, contributing significantly to the ecosystem's blueprint, crafting and implementing micro-services within a hybrid cloud framework. You bring forth a visionary perspective, capable of conceiving and constructing an exemplary system from its very inception.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for a data and analytics platform.
• Integrate data from various sources using APIs, message queues, and streaming technologies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Develop robust and scalable backend services for data analysis and reporting.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts, DevOps engineers) to ensure data quality and platform reliability

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience is required and must have experience in working as data analytics backend engineer
• Coursework and/or professional experience in computer architecture and operating systems.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent training or work experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake technologies
• Expertise in data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
