About the Team

You will work as part of the Talent team to manage all employee and labor-related compliance, as well as the talent experience of people in our manufacturing location. This is an individual contributor role.

At early-stage startups such as us, talent density is one of the key factors that separate the best from the rest. As a Plant Talent Manager, your role will be instrumental in ensuring we have the right environment at our factory for talent to deliver extraordinary outcomes.

What will you do?

Your role will be but will not be limited to operating from Exponent Energy’s manufacturing facility with the following responsibilities:

  • Execute and own employment and labor law compliance across the organization
  • Ensure compliance of the organization with labor laws, regulations, and employment-related legislation, including safety regulations and other employment-related laws.
  • Ensure compliance from all stakeholders with Company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and employment-related legislation, ensuring organization processes and practices are compliant.
  • Create SOPs and policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and are compliant with all laws of the land.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documents.
  • Utilize data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in workforce Management.
  • Create staffing plans, and recruit qualified candidates. Drive talent acquisition (recruitment) activities, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of candidates.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, including the process of setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Administer and manage employee compensation, benefits, OT Payment, and incentive programs.
  • Promote employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, employee recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees.

What you should have:

  • 7 -9 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in working in green-field/brown-field operations
  • Good communication skills, including local languages.
  • Ability to converse and work with local regulatory agencies where required.
  • Empathetic and passionate about people and people processes.
  • Extensive working knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work with all stakeholders to execute various people processes that align with organizational goals
  • A Master’s degree in HR, labor welfare, or industrial relations.
