Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Product Development team. This position is a remote role.Data Privacy is important to all of us. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a global team with a product that the business marketplace MUST have in place in order to do business.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain innovative end to end pipelines that integrates from code check-in to build and deploy using the organization specified tools and utilities.
- Implement and integrate with tools that will enable self-testing builds and auto generate reports including unit test and code coverage metrics.
- Educate and Champion build pipelines and build maturity across the various product teams.
- Promote and mentor the culture of DevOps as code and process not people.
- Continuously innovate and improve based on technological changes/challenges.
- Work with key stake holders to Shift Left repeatable tasks as automation.
- Work on identifying future requirements from a strategic perspective and build achievable milestone-based plans to implement the same.
Qualifications:- 5-7 years of relevant experience working with Jenkins continuous integration tool and build automation tools (such as CMake, maven, Artifactory, Ansible etc.,)
- Prior experience in building and deploying software in Unix, Linux, Windows, and zOS environments.
- Hands on experience with Unix command line, shell scripting (bash, sh), and Python.
- Experience in configuring, administering, and using unit testing and code coverage tools.
- Experience working with systems such as: Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Artifactory, and Docker Registry.
- Experience working with Public and Private Clouds, and Kubernetes environments and platforms.
- Highly motivated and willing to work as an individual contributor.
- Good communication skills.
