Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects integrating DevOps principles and practices.
- DevOps Implementation: Implement and promote DevOps best practices, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. Oversee the integration of DevOps tools and automation into the project lifecycle.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to manage projects efficiently.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes. Ensure the integration of testing and quality assurance within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, cloud architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.
- Requirements Management: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to define project requirements and user stories.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Resource Management: Manage project resources, including team members and project budget. Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet project goals.
- Communication: Facilitate communication within the project team and with stakeholders. Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing team efficiency and project outcomes.
- Implement lessons learned and feedback from retrospectives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on DevOps practices. Certification in DevOps or relevant Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) and data-related technologies.
