This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion for building products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station) which together unlock 15-minute rapid charging.

What we need:
Battery packs are a dime a dozen. But a good battery pack is a work of art.
Sourcing cells is a piece of cake but building a good battery pack is differentiated by how much performance you can extract and how long you can make them last. This depends on two things: BMS and Mechanicals (Thermals and Structural).
The thermals on our battery pack are critical they set apart our battery with respect to consistency (remember we rapidly charge 4C against the usual 0.5C. Heat emitted is I2R you can do the math ). The structural part of the pack ensures it works continuously and reliably on Indian roads and in all types of environmental conditions (dust, underwater, etc)

Responsibilities:
Lead battery development from Concept to Production:
Thermals + Structural + Environmental (Active cooling, battery chassis, enclosure, busbars). Together they help achieve the right type of performance, consistency, and durability in all environments.
Get. Set. Production:
Take all of the designs to production. And do whatever is needed to get it out there. Design the right architecture, choose the right materials, get it tested, and work with the manufacturing partners, Supply chain team, and Process engineering to build an efficient, reliable, and scalable solution.
What will you do:
- Lead battery development from Concept to Production:
- Own Engineering + Cost + Timeline + Quality
- Thermals + Structural + Environmental(Active cooling, battery chassis, enclosure, busbars). Together they help achieve the right type of performance, consistency, and durability in all environments.
- Led a team of designers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Manage communication with internal and external resources, like supply chain, process engineering, and test validation teams.
- Ensure engineering quality by structured product development processes from architecture, FMEA, and Component to product testing.
- Get. Set. Production. Take all of it to production.
- Design the right architecture, choose the right materials (to meet specs and cost), get it tested, work with cross-functional teams, and build the best solution.
- Own product cost and quality.
- Set up processes to ensure timely delivery ensuring product quality.
What you need:
- 8+ years of experience in product development with successful product cycles
- Experience in taking Electromechanical components from Concept to Production (Design, Analysis, and DFX)
- Experience in high voltage battery development, Safety, and BMS Interactions.
- Experience in leading a product development team.
- Expert in material selection and component selection
- Excellent Mathematical and Analytical skills
- Hands-on experience with optimizing Mechanical packaging for weight amp; volume, and cost.
- Experienced working with Voltages and Currents and understands their impact on Safety and reliability.
